Chinese new year reunion lunch by mom, we don't have it as dinner as parents will be too busy preparing. It's not advisable for mom to cook more than this because nobody could help her in kitchen. By the time I woke up, she had finished cooking =.="   Love watching the fireworks which last about an hour starting at 1145pm, the sky was brightly lit with myriad of colors; the sound of  firecrackers heard in the town. After watching fireworks, gambling session started! Not really gambling; it's more like playing cards and those who lost were to sip beer.

the music of icebergs II

Taiwan in 2 more days ^_^ but sad part is it's winter there and have to wear layers of clothes like onion which makes you look round. Hope it's not too cold as I have really low tolerance to cold temperature. Funniest part was I'd mistaken my flight on Tuesday for Monday, overexcited i guess =.= and luckily YeeHoong told me. CNY is coming to an end; all relatives and friends had either gone back to work or study. Stay tuned for CNY posts =)

Mallow Bars

样子有点抱歉..haha

ta-daaaaaaaaaa..
Just a simple recipe I got from magazine :
Ingredients:
25g butter
550g dark chocolate
80g Marie biscuits
100g marshmallows
1. Melt butter and chocolate in double boiler
2. Take out 10ml from the mixture of melted butter and chocolate and leave aside
3. Transfer the rest of mixture into a mixing bowl of crushed biscuits and marshmallows.
4. Mix them thoroughly
5. Transfer to 8 inch tray; flatten the surface of mixture
6. Pour (2) over the (5) and spread evenly.
7. Refrigerate for a few hours and serve. YUM YUM =)

Dinner @ Ristretto, Mont Kiara

Lighting was not good in that place, plus I don't like to use the built in flash as it made the photos too harsh. These are the photos after 'filtering'; the rest wasn't nice tho'. The restaurant caters for BBQ buffet which definitely worth the price! Recommended by Ben, we went there on the next day after exam after studying super duper hard. The personnel took photos of customers as well and uploaded on their facebook: Ristretto. Thumbs up for the food, they served lamb chop, chicken bbq, beef; everything is MEAT MEAT MEAT,  good for the meat lovers. Oh ya, free beer as well =)

 Appetizer: love the salmon

That night, the best dish award went to this: chicken BBQ

 Love this pineapple and ham
 Garlic bread was good =)

the music of icebergs I

Bonjour! Results was out yesterday, the feeling was superb when tearing the paper off ;I seriously had fine tremors and my result slips had saw tooth pattern #like atrial flutter#  Bless the Lord that I did okay and my effort was paid! Even though it's not super good results, hmmm下次更努力吧. Two important semesters were finally over and next most nervous moment in my life would be knowing which PMS I'd be matched too #fingers crossed# Was not happy with OSCE results I think I failed one history taking station, the $%!@^ SP did not give the information properly tho' I had asked him for like thousand times for more information when I couldn't diagnose  but VAIN. wth he didn't tell me he ate a peanut with alcohol which had caused me screwing the Q&A station, otherwise could have easily written 'foreign body aspiration' rather than laryngitis, carcinoma whatever shit which I simply wrote since I could not think of anything else. I remember asking him ''Did you have any alcohol?'' He freaking told me ''NO!'' Can't blame the students sometimes especially when the SPs don't cooperate, each word they say or have not said could determine the grade of students okay. Plus it does not make sense when the students keep digging for more information from SP when they don't tell their problems properly just because they are fake patients; while in real life, the patients would tell everything from head to toe because they want to be treated, unless they are hardcore difficult patients. This was the first time I had this kind of SP an failed take proper history; more professional SPs in exams to come please!

And yeah, happy holidays to myself =)

The first United Buddy Bears exhibition was held in Berlin in 2002 and has traveled from continents to continents. They are now in Malaysia; from 8/12/11-15/2/12 outside Pavilion KL! There are 143 life sized painted fibre-glass bears of 2m tall. Each buddy bear with own designs was created by artists on behalf of their native countries. As you can see, the Bears are standing hand in hand to symbolize the vision if a peaceful world in the future. I found the designs interesting and had spent quite some time appreciating them. Have you? =) It's worthwhile to drop by and have a look.
