Luzern, Switzerland

Hello sun! Traveled from Bern to Luzern by train. Good for one day trip as Luzern is a small town.

Fell in love with the lake

Had a slice of cake at noon =)

Cute family of three. Found this outside an optical shop

The sleeping lion. Walked hours to find this. LOL

Bern, Switzerland

I stayed in Switzerland for my summer break. It's a very expensive country to live in as the living cost is high. A pack of meat is double the price of meat in UK. However their quality of life is unbelievable; it is clean and the view is spectacular. A peaceful and desirable country to live in.

It was very hot as the temperature was as high as 30 degrees and I'm lovin it. I don't like the weather in Scotland, UK where I study coz the weather changes every 5 minutes. Stormy, windy, and chilly. Even in the summer, the temperature only gets as high as 21 degrees + windy. So I appreciate summer a lot in Europe, and get as much sunlight as I can. Needless to say, I'm 3 shades darker after the summer break.

The bear park in Bern.

SUN *excited*

Triberg, Germany

one of my favourite towns I'd been at the south of Germany- the Blackforest! It was so cold I swore it's around -10 degrees celcius here. I was all layered up.

Thick snow everywhere!

The famous waterfall - Triberg waterfall. Spectacular view as everywhere was white and frozen.

It's town where the cuckoo clock was originally made. Cute decorations everywhere ^_^

Last but not least, FOOD! Food in this restaurant is a must-try. The German pork knuckle and its thin crepes were amazing!

Black forest cake is a must-try as it's originally from BlackForest here. Tasted differently from asian version of blackforest cake which had been modified to cater for locals' tastebuds.

YUMMY-licious

I'd definitely visit this town again if I ever have a chance-probably in summer =)
